Nightshade Free Ranch Dressing Recipe
As you may have guessed by now, sticking to a nightshade free regime involves cutting out a lot of sauces, dips and salad dressings. 90% of the time they contain spices made using nightshade vegetables.
So here is a nightshade free ranch dressing recipe that you can use to brighten up many a boring meat and two veg meal that you will get so used to having.

Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1½ cups organic extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp real salt,
- 1 tsp mustard powder,
- 2 Tbsp raw apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 Tbsp fresh onion, finely chopped (or 1 tsp onion powder or 1-2 Tbsp dried minced onions)
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp dried dill
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1½ c. plain yogurt
Instructions
- Use the first 5 ingredients to make the mayonnaise first. Use a mixer of choice to emulsify all these ingredients.
- Add the next 5 ingredients above and mix well.
- Now add the final ingredient and again mix well. Use a quart sized jar to store and place in the fridge. It will thicken nicely there.
